Abstract:
The research entitled Optimizing Brassica rapa var chinensis Growth Using
EM4 Bioactivator and the combination of “CAKEMAS”: in Hydroponic
Systems has the potential to improve soil fertility and plant health, and
support environmentally friendly agriculture. Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC)
is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, and calcium. The combination of liquid
organic fertilizer from goldfish waste and AB Mix can increase the growth of
Pakcoy plants in a hydroponic system and affect the increase in plant height,
number of leaves, leaf area, wet weight, and dry weight of plants. The
research method used is Experimental Research through Quantitative and
descriptive approaches. This method was chosen because this research
focuses on measuring the growth of height and number of leaves of pakcoy
plants with CAKEMAS-based fertilizer and the addition of EM4 bioactivator.
The results of the study stated that the combination of EM4 Bioactivator and
Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) from the waste of Goldfish scales (cyprinus
carpio) and Conch Shells (Anadara Granosa) greatly influenced the growth
and yield of pakcoy (Brasicca rapa) in the hydroponic system, namely;
average plant height growth of 4.34 cm and the number of leaves of 3
strands. The advantages obtained by using Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC)
are good growth and make plants healthy and support environmentally
friendly agriculture.
