Our Excel importing tools can also be used to do bulk changes to prices or other information for items. The
Excel export and import tools allow a super user to do changes very flexibly for existing items. New items can
also be easily imported using the Excel import functions.

Item templates

Item templates may be used in consultations, price estimates or counter sales. Item templates offer a good
way to bundle different items to a composite item. It is possible to create a template which includes the full
set of required treatment items which can then be used in a consultation. Amount, usage type and
administration method are entered on the template but these can be changed when adding the template to a
consultation if needed. It is possible to include a template in another template which allows you to create
nested composites.

Templates can be priced so that the price fluctuates depending on medicine usage for example. An item
template can also have a fixed price which is then used regardless of the prices for individual items included
in that template. Changing prices for items included in an item template changes the price for the template,
unless the template has a fixed price.
