CHinese ButterFLY Knot

An intricate interweaving of two cords.

The term Chinese butterfly is used to describe a great
number of knots, many of them highly ornate and elabo-
rately complex. This one, in lanyard form, is on the small
side, creating a neat curve at each of the four corners. The
tying of this knot goes easier if the cords are laid on a flat
surface and arranged appropriately before tightening.
