Next Steps
You have now had a chance to work your way through this workbook to learn
about u3a SiteWorks and to practice using the product. When you are ready
then please get back to the I & E team who invited you to join the migration
process and tell them that you are ready to move on to Part 2 using
ie.team@siteworks.u3a.org.uk. Your u3a status on Open Project will be changed
to alert the Migration team that you need assistance.
Note: Contacting the I&E team about moving to part 2 should be the role of the
Web Manager for your u3a. If you are an assistant going through this process in
support of your Web Manager, then by all means continue with this workbook
but leave it to your Web Manager to trigger the next part of the process please
so that we don’t duplicate effort.
Migrator Contact
A Migrator will contact you. This could be within hours or it could be a much
longer period of time. It depends on the workload of the migration team at that
particular time. The plan is that this person will be your dedicated Migrator for
the remainder of the process wherever possible. He/she will check with you that
you are comfortable with your learning to date and that you are ready to move
on. He/she will arrange for a copy of your migrated data to be sent to you so
that you can continue with part 2 of this programme.
Feedback on the Workbook
With continuous improvement in mind, it would be really helpful if you could
spare a few minutes please and give some feedback on this workbook. This will
be collated and patterns/trends will be noted and actions taken accordingly. The
feedback form is held within the SiteWorks team website and you can complete
and return it online. This is the first of two feedback points in this process and
this form is called ‘Feedback A: Introduction and Part 1 (Learning SiteWorks).’
