pets if you have any. You can use this mythical person later when you set up
access to a group page.
Media
It might feel a little strange that our first main subject is Media but we’re going to
be using media items in many of the following sections so it makes sense to
cover them first.
Adding images, sound, or files to your Library
If you had photos on your Site Builder site they will have transferred to your
WordPress site. You will need to add Alt+Text for the purposes of accessibility
(descriptive words to help sight-challenged people to ‘see’ the photo) but you
won’t have to reload them all which, for many Web Managers, is a big time saver.
If you go now to Local and your training demo file then click on Media > Library
on your Dashboard menu you will be able to view your demo Library as seen
below.
We have never had this feature before. The nearest analogy I can think of is that
it is like the photo gallery in your phone or tablet. A little later you will be using
some of these photos as you create page elements.
If you didn’t have any photos on your Site Builder website then you won’t have
any in your Media Library but it’s easy to upload some. Go back to your
Dashboard and this time click Media > Add New and you will see the screen
below.
