Dear Women of Holy Redeemer Institutional Church:
It is my most earnest prayer that this communiqué finds you blessed and highly favored. I
am overjoyed to have this opportunity to salute and congratulate the Women of Holy
Redeemer on your 35th Annual Women’s Day Celebration. In our pursuit to “Our Kingdom
Narrative that Changes the World” we Embrace and Proclaim Biblical Principles that
Gloriously Transform Human Agendas, and continue to do so until our Lord and Savior
returns; our faith requires spiritual direction and insight to accomplish those mandates
entrusted to us. The global witness of our church is empowered and strengthened when
we ascend courageously to new horizons. It is with these perspectives in mind that I pen
this communiqué of appreciation to you for your unfeigned stewardship and unwavering
commitment to the Lord’s church and his people.
We celebrate the monumental tasks and witness the notable accomplishments that God
divine inspires. By the grace of God, the visionary leadership of Holy Redeemer, the stellar
support of our boards, the exemplary oversight of our building committee and the
impressive support of our constituency, we successfully opened The Institute for the
Preservation of African American Music & Art (IPAMA) East campus, on August 21, 2021.
This initiative is designed to preserve the rich tradition of African American artistic
contributions in the performing and visual arts. Its goal is to integrate the arts into
academic achievement and performance utilizing science, technology, engineering, and
mathematics. This facility is another demonstration to our global community that the
Church Of God In Christ, when engaged with purposeful mission, accomplishes our
mission and portrays God’s promise to bless us exceedingly and abundantly above what
we ask or think.
Moreover, thousands of our congregants are inspired to continue kingdom advancement
locally and globally. Your participation and partnership has afforded this project to
continue without external financing and stay within our projected budget. I celebrate
your fidelity and financial support to our church and greater community. Thank you for
your willingness to assist the church and for your many years of outstanding leadership
and loyalty.
I would also like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Supervisor Valerie Daniels-
Carter, our 2021 Annual Women’s Chairperson, for her outstanding demonstration
of dedication, leadership and fidelity. May God continue to endow our women with
blessings for their continued faithfulness. Finally, I personally wish to express my
sincere appreciation for your total commitment to the work of the church as we
empower our witness, embrace our heritage, and enhance our ministry. May the
great Consolator be your guide as you remember “There is nothing too hard for
God!” Great is our God who has afforded us great accomplishments!
Your Servant,
Bishop Sedgwick Daniels
