Co‐Founder, Sinag‐tala Filipino Theater & Performing Arts Associa on
(SFTPAA).
• Volunteered as CEO & Ar s c Director of SFTPAA, 1990‐2015.
• Emeritus Ar s c Director of SFTPAA , 2016‐present.
• SFTPAA is a Sacramento‐based charitable organiza on that is dedicated to
providing community members the opportunity to promote the works of
Filipino musical, dance, literary and cultural ar sts through the study, in‐
terpreta on and staging of theater and performing arts.
• SFTPAA has a hundred ac ve members and volunteers ranging in age from
4‐year‐old preschoolers to teenagers and adults.
• Developed 3 signature programs of SFTPAA including: the Sinag‐Tala The‐
atrical Revue, the Sinag‐Tala Theater Ensemble and the Sinag‐Tala Ron‐
dalla Program.
• Worked at California Department of Social Services, 1969‐1999.
• Earned his BA in Speech and Drama, 1968 from UP Diliman.

• Staff anesthesiologist, Mercy Health‐St. Vincent Medical Center,
Toledo Ohio, 1992‐present
• President, Associated Anesthesiologists of Toledo, Inc.
• Toledo Opera Board of Trustees 2008‐ present; provided steady
support to the Opera which prevented it from bankruptcy and dis‐
solu on during the financial crisis in 2008.
• Member, Board of Directors, 1995‐present, Special Commission on
Relief and Educa on (SCORE), a local Filipino philanthropic group in
Toledo Ohio; provide child and family support, disaster relief, medi‐
cal missions, & scholarships in U.S., the Philippines, Hai and Indo‐
nesia.
• Par cipated in medical missions in the Philippines and the Domini‐
can Republic.
• President of UPMASA IKOT Chapter; President, Mu Sigma Phi Foun‐
da on
