Cedric: “Our beloved
mother, Anne Mary Fletcher,
néé Devereux, passed away
on 9 October 2024.
A turbulent week has ended.
She now rests in serene
peace.
Her soul, forever gentle,
m o v e s o n t o b u i l d
magnificent new gardens
and leaves a legacy of trees
and shrubs in so many
gardens in this region. She
lived with grace and love.
Her strength will be
remembered.
We will miss Mom deeply.

Seven people have died and

injuries when a truck and a
minibus taxi collided on the
Mthentu Cuttings on N2
Road between Mthatha and
Dutywa on the morning of
Saturday, 12 October.

traveling to Libode from East
London and the truck was
traveling in the direction of
East London when the
accident happened. It was

vehicles collided.
