TIME for Safety
Our own Commissioner Moore was a featured speaker recently at the TIME Task Force
Executive Briefing.
The TIME Task Force is made up of concerned incident responders from transportation
agencies, fire, rescue, police, towing and emergency medical services among others. It
was formed in August 2002 to address the critical issues of mobility and safety related to
incident management in the Metro Atlanta region. It is now a statewide program.
The Commissioner provided the attendees information on our new licensing system
including the new license design, DDS 2 GO as well as DRIVES. Kecia Bivins, Director of
Field Operations, serves as a Board Member of TIME. TIME’s mission is to develop and
sustain a statewide incident management program to facilitate the safest and fastest
roadway clearance, lessening the impact on emergency responder's and motoring
