Meet Bob Griffin

Director of Customer Service Support & Finance

Where did you work prior to coming to DDS? What brought you to DDS?

I worked for The Department of Audits for 17 years as an auditor for the state; then worked for the Governor’s
Office of Highway Safety for 7 years as the Chief Financial Officer before coming to the Department of Driver
Services in April 2011. My working relationship with Rob Mikell at the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety
was influential in moving from Highway Safety to DDS.

What do you hope to leave as your legacy at DDS?

I hope to be remembered by the agency as someone that always thought outside the box and helped bring
about positive change to how we work with our customers. I will always push for technological improvements
and embrace new methods that improve how we accomplish our mission.

What does your role as Chief Financial Officer involve?

DDS necessitates unique roles for the CFO position. My primary responsibility is centered around the
accounting and budgeting for the agency. Both functions are vital to the success of the agency and like many
