Changes On The Help Desk
Congratulations to Patrician Folsome, an icon at DDS,
on her retirement from Field Operations as Help Desk
Manager! She retires with 42 years working and her
last 13 were here at DDS. Commissioner Moore said
that Patricia has been instrumental in many DDS suc-
cesses over the years and wished her well on her well-
deserved retirement.
Patricia plans are to relax with family and get back to
her personal love of artwork.
She said, “I want to especially thank my Help Desk Team
(agents, supervisors and managers) for being awesome
top performers and great employees. It has been a
pleasure working with everyone and you all will truly
be missed.”
Congratulations to Whitney Morton who has been select-
ed the new Help Desk Manager!
Whitney joined the Agency in 2010 as a Driver Examiner
at the Norcross CSC. She brings more than 10 years of
extensive Customer Service, Issuance and Management
experience to her new role. Whitney has worked as an
Examiner, Customer Service and Help Desk Agent, Team
Lead, Supervisor, and Assistant Help Desk Manager at
DDS over the years and continues to serve as a Subject
Matter Expert (SME) in our Help Desk(s).
With a thirst for knowledge, Whitney attended Ohio
Christian University and received her Associate of
Science degree in Business Administration. She’s
currently enrolled with Strayer University in pursuit of her
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
Whitney is the proud mother of two beautiful children.
Working for DDS is truly a family business for Whitney.
Her grandmother, “Grannie Thelma” worked for DPS from
1975 to 2000. Her mother Stephanie, “Mommy” retired
from the ATL CSC with 30 of service in 2010.
