Congratulations to this year's DDS Examiner of the Year -- Billie
Jean Dart -- from Statesboro!

Billie is an eighteen-year veteran of DDS and a California native.
She started with DDS as a full-time employee and is the mother of
four and grandmother to one. In 2011, Billie was promoted to
Assistant Manager.

She stays on top of policy and procedural changes and goes the
extra mile to research and professionally respond to customer
concerns. Billie is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish and this
garners her calls from many different CSCs for help in issuance,
testing and general translations. Billie has even travelled to
another center to translate an oral test in Spanish.

She shares her extensive knowledge and her high moral values to
effectively educate our customers and team members on our
policies so that they understand what is being asked of them, and
why. She often makes well thought-out suggestions for
improvement to processes or system enhancements.

She truly believes it is more efficient to reduce the number of
customer visits to the CSC and goes above and beyond to offer
options or suggestions to customers to meet document or other
policy requirements.

Billie also believes in a strong team and Statesboro’s very low 18%
turnover rate shows that the team believes in her also. In the past
year, Billie has processed 5,655 customer transactions with an
average transaction time of 5:21. These numbers show just how
the Statesboro and Swainsboro centers have achieved 100 percent
for the last eight months.
