The History of the DDS Fastest Typist
The Fastest Typist Championship was the idea of a former District Manager, and it was launched in
2017. The purpose was to create a friendly competition while bringing all nine districts together
to highlight customer service. This championship not only helps to promote comradery and boost
morale, but it also allows Team Members to create new friendships while learning new techniques in
efficiency and customer service.
Originally the competition was done in each district to determine their best typist. Then those win-
ners were brought to the Atlanta CSC for the Grand Championship.
Now with Pandemic upon us, we can use NemoQ to select our District Champions to represent each
district in the Grand Championship.
The previous centers that Won the Championship are:
• Conyers 2017
• Decatur 2018 and 2019
• Carrollton 2020
This year's event sported a UGA Theme with lots
of red/black and Team Spirit! It was another excit-
ing and outstanding event!
Field Operations Director Kecia Bivins, Deputy Di-
rector Pierre Miles, our District Managers, Manag-
ers and our hosts at the Lawrenceville CSC are to
be commended for making the event special for
all those participating and attending.
The final ceremony was held virtually led by DJ Thunder- This is the first time for it to be hosted by the Law-
storm aka Eric Mitchell, District 5, District Manager. renceville CSC and the Team there ensured that a
good time was had by all.
