                                    2022 Agency Goals








        Mobile Driver’s Licenses (mDL) DDS has
        joined with Apple Inc. to offer mobile
        driver licenses (mDL) and ID cards to
        Georgians using the iPhone’s Apple Wal-
        let. The pilot program, is in conjunction
        with the Transportation Safety Admin-
        istration. (TSA), will allow customers to
        use their mDL at select airports similar
        to accessing a flight boarding pass
        stored on traveler’s cellphones. Custom-
        ers will have the option to request a free
        mDL in addition to their hard/physical
        card which customers should continue
        to carry. As the pilot continues, plans
        include android options as well.                Facility Improvements
                                                        DDS will continue to improve the physical environment for our

                                                        Jackson: DDS continues to move forward with replacing a licens-

                                                        Hazelhurst: A brand new full service customer service center will
                                                        be added in Jeff Davis County. This includes a CDL testng pad
                                                        which is needed in this area.

       Chatbot/Virtual Assistant DDS looks to tech-
       nology to improve customer service. A project
       team is working with Microsoft to develop a way
       for contact center callers to be served without
       waiting for an agent.  The DDS contact center
       handles 600,000 calls annually.  The chatbot/
       virtual assistant has the potential to help thou-
       sands of customers each month even during
       non-working hours.
