On Saturday, March 23rd, Scott Morrison, Compliance Analyst with
Regulatory Compliance and Robin Patterson-Hill, Communication
& Outreach Coordinator with the Motorcycle Safety Program
represented DDS at the Cobb County Safety Village for Safe
America’s BrainCamp 2019.
BrainCamp 2019 is an interactive event aimed at educating teens
on a variety of subjects impacting todays youth. Teens learned
about distracted driving, cyber bullying, sports safety, and making
critical decisions during difficult situations. The highlight of the
day was an informative re-enactment of a vehicle crash and how
public safety officials respond.
This was a great opportunity to interact with teens and their
parents and answer any licensing questions as well as pass
out Georgia Drivers manuals, Super Speeder brochures, information related to TADRA
(Teenage & Adult Driver Responsibility Act), and to promote the Departments new App,
DDS 2 GO.
