 3rd Annual Fastest Typing Contest

The third annual DDS Fastest Typing Contest came to a dramatic end on March 6th at the
Atlanta CSC. The nine District Competitors assisted customers for two hours to determine
who will have bragging rights for the next year!

The winner of this year’s contest and the DDS Fastest Typist Champion is Jessica Carl
from Decatur (District 5) with a time of 2:33. This marks two consecutive years that
Decatur has taken home the win. It also establishes a dynasty in which District 5 has won
the competition all three years of existence. Jessica’s win earns her a trip to attend the
American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) Region 2 Conference in
Houston, TX. While there she will have a first-hand look at how our counterpart Agencies in
16 other states are handling issues and, above all, serving customers.

We all know that serving customers is a lot more than typing! It is communication,
concentration and precision! This statewide event was created to generate friendly
competition between the Districts. It pits the top customer service performers from
each center in a customer service transaction time showdown! Congratulations to all the
competitors and supporters, and keep smiling!
The Districts were well represented with nine terrific examiners who earned the right to be
at the contest in Atlanta. Representing the Districts were:
