Team DDS Honored with Awards

Being recognized for our hard work is always rewarding but getting two accolades at this time is
especially sweet! We have recently been awarded a Regional Award from the American Association
of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA). Equally important, our business partner GTA - Georgia
Technology Authority -- has selected the CPS Project as a 2019 Technology Winner!
DDS is the winner of the Community Service Award for the Bahamas Relief Effort from AAMVA, our
Industry Association. Each year, AAMVA has an Award Program with many categories to highlight work
from motor vehicle agencies throughout the US. DDS was selected for our Agency contributions to the
Bahamas Hurricane Relief Effort following Hurricane Dorian last Fall. Led by the Human Resources Team,
this community service project was created to gather supplies for the people of the Bahamas as they
started to recover and rebuild. Participation came from Team Members from each division across the
state.
Likewise, GTA selects annual winners from state, city and county governments that have made strides
in creating or improving technology- rich customer service initiatives. CPS not only laid the foundation
for DRIVES but was a smooth transition to new equipment and processes to serve our customers more
efficiently and ensure data integrity.
