Kamiya Woods
Kamiya has held several positions since joining DDS as a Part-Time Hourly
Support Service Worker. She has served as a Driver Examiner 1, Help
Desk PDA, Help Desk Agent 2, and is now a CSC Assistant Manager in
Covington. She is a book worm and is the Team Mom for her daughter’s
softball team. She once fell out of a chair in front of a customer and her
Team Members. Best advice: “It’s not where you start but where you
finish that counts,” Zig Zigler.
Aretha Wright
Aretha joined DDS as a Driver Examiner I in 2004 and has served as an Interim
Supervisor, Assistant Manager, and Manager at the Atlanta CSC. She is now a
District Manager for the CSCs in District 4. She loves to watch old, black and white
movies on Turner Classic movies. Her hobbies include participating in boot camps,
traveling, reading and spending time with family.
Laquenta Wright
Laquenta joined the Agency in 2006 as a Data Entry/Validation Verifier. In 2014,
she was promoted to a Data Entry/Exceptions Handler. Since 2016, she has been
an Assistant Manager in Records Management. She was a debater and was on the
debate team in High School. She loves to take quizzes, shoe shopping, and
spending time with family and friends. The best advice given to her was “Always
do your best because no one can take that away from you,” inspired by her Mom
Tina.
Brett Young
Brett joined the Agency in 2001 as a SE Transportation Specialist in Regulatory
Compliance. He moved in Reg Comp to a Compliance Analyst II in 2006.
In 2008, he was promoted to a Business Analyst lI in the Business Standards Division.
He then joined Customer Service Licensing and Records in 2013 as Special Assistant
to the Director of Field Operations. He served as the Deputy Director of the Program
Management Office (PMO) in 2015 and then was promoted to Director of the PMO
in 2017. He enjoys brewing craft beer and fishing with his family. Brett was also a
bone marrow donor. His favorite quote is from Dave Ramsey on dealing with banks
and credit cards. “If you play with snakes, you will get bit.”
