Coriander, Tomatoes, Eggplants, Gem Squash and of course our Free Range Chicken eggs, which are
simply the best.
I also found out that our Biltong Maker machine can make amazing dried fruits ie Naartjes (best to be
consumed in an ice cold G&T), Paw Paw, Oranges, Lemons, Pears and more. I am making the most
delicious pickled Jalapeno slices and when we have too many eggs, we pickle them too.
There is never a dull moment running a farm and it is not always easy, but when one tastes your own
vegetables, there is no comparison. My little garden in Kasane has now become a nursery and growing
place for anything and everything, where our farm in Lesoma grows the “bigger vegetables” those
which need space. Due to the situation in Kasane, I have also started teaching some children from
the Red Cross the importance and benefits of growing trees and your own food as well as planting
Moringa seeds and the benefits of the tree. Next week we are going with them to watch how to make
building bricks out of plastic waste. Amazing things happening in Kasane and I strongly feel that this
is the way forward.
We can all make a difference to change the world and help our Environment to recover from years of
abuse. If you would like to learn more about us or would like to visit us when in Kasane, follow us on
