Coffee Buzz in Kasane

      HOMEMADE ICE CREAM FOR HOT BOTSWANA DAYS
    Ingredients:                            400 ml Cream (whipped)
    70 gram soft brown sugar                150 ml Cream
    2 tablespoons syrup                     baking paper
    1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
    1 tin condensed milk



      METHOD
      Put 70 gram soft brown sugar and 2 tablespoons syrup and boil for 4 minutes gently in a
      pan, (make sure the sugar doesn’t burn), then add 1 tsp bi-carb. Pour the mixture onto a
      baking paper and spread it out thinly – Once it is hard put another piece of baking paper
      on top of it and chop into pieces
      Whisk 400 ml cream till soft peaks form and add 1 tin condensed milk as well as the
      chopped bits of brown sugar. After this, add another 150 ml of unbeaten cream. Mix
      it all up and put into an ice cream tub in the deep freeze (make sure to cover the tub, to
      avoid ice crystals).
