The fox and the crow
This fable is about a crow who thought he was very clever and a hungry, cunning fox. In
order to get the piece of cheese from the crow’s mouth, the fox started to praise the bird.
When he believed all her lies, she said that she wanted to hear his “divine” voice. The naive bird
opened its mouth to sing and immediately the fox grabbed the cheese before it fell on the
ground.
The lesson: Be aware of those who flatter you because they may not tell you the truth
and want something else.
