and Impact 2023

F ollowing Shomrim’s 2022 strategic process, in which
measuring and actively driving impact were major
goals, Shomrim established an impact measurement
team led by VP Doron Sela. Throughout 2023, the
team worked on implementing an impact tracking
system, systematizing tracing, screening potential stories by
impact expectation, and establishing impact measures and KPIs.
Impact is now measured on a sliding scale, ranging from raising
significant public awareness about an issue, to having decision-
makers address the issue, to effecting actual change in behavior,
policies, practices, or legislation. The stories highlighted below
are listed in order of highest impact, showcasing real-world
change. All of these stories and many more can be found on
Shomrim’s website.
