assorted models of cars entered; Porsche, Ferrari, Mustang GT, and Camaro, and many others represented. The categories for the event represented Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Porsche Cup – Professionals.
The weather was for the most part overcast on Saturday, and cool; approximately 45 – 50 degrees over the weekend, however Sunday there was some brief periods of sunshine that made the event more comfortable.
I recognized drivers from
all around the Midwest; Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas
and Missouri. There was a father and son that we spoke with that drove up from Austin, TX as well. Without question, you could see the passion and excitement with the drivers, each with their own level of driving experience.
We enjoyed the event
immensely, and certainly would wholeheartedly recommend the event to other enthusiasts in the KCRPCA, as well as other region members.

April 16-18 was the KCRPCA Club Race and Drivers’ Education weekend. It was the first for 2021. We registered as soon as we heard about it. David Stadtmueller, KCRPCA’s Chief Driving Instructor, kept us up to date
on what to expect. His constant communication about the event, right up and until the big day was very helpful. It ensured us that we were prepared and ready to go. It
