02. PREREQUISITE
In the previous material, the functions and characteristics of narrative text
have been conveyed. To be able to understand this module, you are expected to
have read material about the structure of narrative text. Students will be invited to
be able to analyze narrative texts in the form of folklore from the types, structures,
linguistic elements, and functions of narrative texts. After studying this e-book
students are expected to be able to understand and create their own version of
narrative text by paying attention to linguistic elements.
03. MODUL INSTRUCTION
In this e-module, students will be invited to practice four language learning
skills namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing in English about
understanding Narrative texts.
Please pay attention to the following instructions for using the e-module:
1) This module can be studied independently or in groups, both at school and
outside of school
2) Listen, read, and observe examples from various sources by way of
discussion, demonstration, simulation, and question and answer.
3) Discuss with friends or form an effective discussion group.
4) Do the exercises and evaluations in this e-module.
5) Study other learning resources about learning or practice related to past
events.
6) Read and understand the assessment rubric to find out the value you get.
7) If there are obstacles or difficulties, discuss them again with friends and if
you still don't get an unsatisfactory answer, ask a teacher or other expert.
