had discipline issues in the classroom,
maybe because the material was not that
interesting. Sometimes, we had
wonderful discussions, and students
were excited and involved; but in other
days, they felt less engaged and bored.
But overall, I just hoped they had
sufficient spiritual food for the week.
Just like some days we have great meals,
other days we have some OK meals, but
if we could not remember what we ate
last Saturday, all those meals were
important to our growth. The bible is
God’s word and a profoundly rich
resource for teaching, and soon after
contemplating what the students might
need, I could organize the material
