I Our Present
Edgarton Christian Academy reflects it future possibilities in its past accomplishments.
Ÿ ECA opened in 2012 with an $900,000 budget. In 2019, our budget has grown to $2,000,000. This is a 110% increase which
reflects our ability to increase staff and to improve our curriculum in an effort to meet our growing enrollment and to ensure
a progressive instructional program while maintaining fiscal stability.
Ÿ Since 2012 ECA has invested at least 5% of its budget yearly resulting in a current savings of 1.2million.
Ÿ ECA has no debt service.
Ÿ Our enrollment in June of 2012 was 262. Our enrollment in June of 2019 was 332 constituting a 20% increase in enrollment
over the past 8 years.
Ÿ The per student cost of educating a child at ECA in 2012 was $3500. The per student cost of educating a child in 2019 was
$6000, reflecting a 42% increase over 8 years. Comparatively, the cost of educating a student in New Jersey is $18,000
(2016 Census Bureau).

Ÿ Our acceptance rate of 8 grade graduates to the private high schools and to selective public technical schools in the area is
96%.
Ÿ Staff numbers increased from 32 to 62 in 8 years. Student to teacher ratio is 14:1.
Ÿ 100% of the teaching staff is certified.
Ÿ ECA has an active volunteer community that fundraises $125,000 per year comprising 6% of our current budget.
