Then one day a big sheep name Jed found out Molly’s se-
cret. One morning Jed was standing under the bread-
fruit tree watching the some of the baby animals as they
ran out into the field. He heard a soft sigh and turned
around and saw Molly watching the baby animals. She
looked so sad. “Molly my girl, why do you look so sad?”
asked Jed in a gentle voice. “Oh, I am O.K.”, said Molly
with a smile. “Look at those little ones; they are so happy
and cute”. Jed looked into Molly’s eyes and saw the sad-
ness in them. “What is wrong Molly”, he said softly. Tell
me and I will see if I can help you”. “It is alright Jed
there is nothing you can do. You see sometimes I wish I
had a little kid of my own to love. But I am fine because
I have all these other little animals to love”. Molly
smiled at Jed and ran out into the field to play with the
baby animals. Jed looked sadly after Molly and wished he
could help her.
There was a big house next door to the farm. A woman
and her son lived in the big house. The son worked in the
city. His mother stayed at home. She had two goats and
some chickens. One day a man in a truck came to the
house. He took the two goats and all the chickens. The
