NUML ANNUAL SDGs Report 2021- 22

Eid Food Drive

The drive was organized by NUML Social Responsibility Society (SRS) of English
Department. The goal was to provide meals on Eid to all those on-duty officials in Islamabad
and Rawalpindi who stay away from their families
for the good of the country.

This idea was discussed in a meeting of the core
committee SRC. An initial target of providing meal
boxes to 500 people was approved and
contributions were first made by the members of
SRC only. EasyPaisa, JazzCash and bank accounts
were shared with the members. Later, the plan was
extended and served 1200 fellows contributions
exceeded beyond the expectations of the
members of the SRC.
