 08| BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT
USE OF INTERNET
It is highly likely that you have your own laptop and / or Phone etc. In order for you to access the internet you may need to ask your host for their log on details. If you don’t have your own computer the host may allow you to use their family computer, in which case the host will
give you guidelines as to how long you may use the computer for. If you are going to download music / films etc please speak to the host before you do so, it may be that additional costs are incurred..
SOCIAL MEDIA
We are aware that you will want to communicate with your family and friends via social media but please resist the temptation to spend all day on social media!
For further information on the safe use of social media and staying safe on line please refer to CG’ Policy - “ Acceptable use of ICT and E safety”.
TELEVISION
As with a home computer the host should give guidelines as to how long you can watch the television for. Please try to remember that there are many
more interesting things to do other than watching TV and playing on a computer!
