The pyramid graphic show the four (4) basic steps adopted in sending faculty to
scholarship/study leave/training/seminar/conferences and similar other activities.
Step 1 - Faculty applying for scholarship, study leave, training, and attendance in seminars and similar other
activities shall file requests to the Campus Staff Development Committee (CSDC) endorsed by
his/her department chairman/program chairman and dean.
Step 2 -The CSDC shall act on the request based on the submitted Staff Development Plan of the
Department/College/Campus and forward its action/recommendation to the University Staff
Development Board (USDB).
Step 3 -The USDB will review the recommendation of the CSDC and forward its recommendation to
the University President through the VP for ARA or the VP for ABF, as the case may be.
Step 4 – Final action by the University President
□ Faculty’s affiliation in professional/scientific organizations and honor societies
relevant to the Program.
