SUPERVISION AT THE POOL
During swim time, staff members will work with the aquatics staff to adequately supervise campers while they swim.
Staff members should remain standing and actively supervising campers during swim time.
It is the responsibility of camp staff, not lifeguards, to correct any behaviors during swim time. The priority of lifeguards during swim time is to keep our campers safe, not correct their behavior.
EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST & REPORTING
Staff members are required to check all equipment and camp program areas before their campers begin an activity. Staff members will assist in maintaining an inventory of any equipment used and will report and remove any broken or damaged equipment from an activity area. All equipment provided to staff members for use in camp will be size appropriate to the camper using the equipment.
