World Bear Day celebration (March 23, 2022)  Training 3 (February 25-28, 2023)


 The  World  Bear  Day  is  celebrated  on  23  March  every  year,  to  recognize  and  “Field  Based  Training  on  Contemporary  Techniques  for  Research  and

 Ratanmahal  sloth  bear  sanctuary.  Volunteers  participated  in  the  bear  day  to  develop  the  capacity  of  frontline  forest  staff  and  young  researchers,  to
 celebration and visited schools and engaged with children to (1) fill out the bear  conduct  monitoring  of  bears  and  habitats  and  exchange  of  knowledge
 book,  (2)  recommendations  on  safe  living  in  the  sloth  bear  habitat  through  a  between the participants. The training programme was organized at Dhanpuri

             Conservation,  education  and  outreach  and  human-sloth  bear  conflicts  along
             with  many  field-based  sessions  were  part  of  the  training  programme  that
             played a vital role for initiating science-based conservation and management of
             Indian bears.
