Senior Accountant / Phoenix

I have over 35 years of accounting experience with most of it
in the construction industry. I have always been very good at
math and enjoyed working with numbers. Accounting is like
assembling a puzzle or solving a mystery, which is why I enjoy it
so much.
Some career accomplishments I’m proud of include the
completion of many software conversions, being part of a team
that reduced month-end close from 45 days to 5 days, and
being able standardize and streamline a billing and collection
process for two lines of business.

I am most proud of my garden. I have been growing tomatoes,
peppers, peas, carrots, Swiss chard, cauliflower and herbs.
Also, I have quite a few roses. And this year my husband and I
celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary.

piece of professional advice I have been given is: “It is true
