NEW HIRES
LANCE LAM
Lead Engineer / Honolulu
I became interested in the Water/Wastewater field because
everyone drinks water and uses the bathroom, but not
everyone truly understands how drinking water and
wastewater are treated and processed, along with the
importance of our profession. You will always need drinking
water and to flush your toilet. Our profession goes unseen,
and when we are seen, it isn’t usually in a positive light (e.g.
broken water/sewer lines, flooding, effluent exceedance,
contamination). Everyone is in awe with the new developments
and new electronics, but no one talks how they are able to
have clean running water and sewers that don’t spill.
I have been involved in the industry for seven years, and I’m
currently involved with the American Society of Civil Engineers
(ASCE) Younger Members Forum (YMF) Hawaii Section as
the Vice President. Formerly Treasurer, Secretary, and Job
Shadow chair.
I enjoy having a great time with family and friends. I like to
travel, hang out at the beach, go fishing, eat all kinds of food,
and meeting new people!
SARA MANOUCHEHRIAN
Graphic Designer / Walnut Creek
In general, I have always been drawn to visual art and design.
My love of drawing and painting started at an early age, and I
enjoyed the creative process of bringing a vision to life. I also
found that I had a natural talent for understanding space, color
composition, and other concepts that are important in design.
Finally, I enjoy the challenge of working with clients to achieve
realistic and beautiful results. For all of these reasons, I am
passionate about being a graphic designer and creating great
designs that people will enjoy and find useful.
I am an award-winning graphic designer with years of experience
in a variety of fields and mediums, including print and digital. I
am also a professional photographer and I participate in many
exhibitions, workshops, and more.
