NEW HIRES
DIANA CENTENO
Senior Project Accountant / Phoenix
I became interested in project accounting because of the variety
of projects and problem-solving challenges I encounter. I get the
opportunity to work on different projects and create solutions to
complex financial situations, which is engaging and rewarding.
During my career, I have pursued skills and knowledge in, financial
management, project management, and accounting principles. In
addition, I pursue relevant certifications to stay up to date on the
industry trends. The best piece of professional advice I’ve received is
“establish strong and long lasting relationships”. Establishing effective
communication will ease all roadblocks and challenges and can help
better understand project goals.
In my personal time, hiking has allowed me to reconnect with nature
and immerse myself in the beauty of the outdoors. Exploring trails and
being surrounded by fresh air really has boosted my mood and has led
me to a more balanced life.
LIZ JOHNSON
Staff Professional / Phoenix
I am actively involved with the Young Professionals within
the AZ Water Association. I have always been interested
in water, especially growing up in Arizona where I learned
about the importance of water conservation. I chose
environmental engineering as I believed it has the most
relevance to this field of work.
I would say the hobby that I am the most proud of is
participating in any and all outdoor activities, I love to
be outside!
