However, they had some difficulties
finding a good match with their
home, family and lifestyle. After quite
some time searching, they drove out
to Panama City with hopes that they
found the one. Vivian had her doubts,
as this new dog was three time bigger
than their last dog.
After thinking it over for a while,
they returned to the rescue, looking
around one more time. The dog was
still there—happy, energetic and
ecstatic to see Vivian. So, they filled
out the adoption papers, and the dog,
now named Kiki, went home with
them.
“This is when Vivian learned how
important it is to adopt instead of
buying puppies at the store,” said her
mother, Erin Coloer.
From there, Vivian reached out to
their neighbor, Shyron Bynog, who
runs Decadent Healthy Chocolate, and
came up with a plan to sell chocolate
to raise money for rescues, and when
she heard about Chance’s story, she
knew that is where she wanted the UPCOMING KIDS’ PROGRAMS
money to go.
Chance’s surgeries were successful,
and he was adopted by a wonderful
family in February 2021. JR. HANDLER CLINIC
