incidence of extended credit days/terms. Hence, this does not involve any signicant nancing
element. There are trade receivables which are not realised in time or as per the credit terms due to
various reasons and it is subject to reconciliation for nal settlement.

13.2 Udupi Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL), has made a Power Plant at Padubidri, Udupi. A Coal
Transportation Agreement was executed for the purpose of coal transportation from Mangalore Port, to
UPCL’s Power Plant. UPCL requested KRCL to take up the work of construction of siding and had
appointed the LANCO Infratech Ltd. as their EPC Contractor / agent to deal with KRCL in relation with
the Railway Siding work. After successful completion of the Railway Siding work, KRCL had handed
over the same to UPCL for their use. There were outstanding dues amounting to approx. ` 1208 Lakh
plus interest thereon, to be payable by UPCL to KRCL. Since the amount has not yet recovered, KRCL
after giving notice to UPCL has led the Civil Recovery Suit OS no. 119/2016 against UPCL (Principal
Employer) and LANCO (its agent). KRCL has a good case for obtaining decree of the court against the
                    defendants.
