Lesson Plan
1. Warm-up: ‘Shake Your Sillies Out’ performed by The Wiggles See term one lesson one. Make sure to use lots of energy!
* Running time approx. 2 mins.
2. Stretching and curling: Hedgehogs See term one lesson one.
* Running time approx. 3 mins.
3. Travel to Danceland: ‘The Walking Song’ performed by Peter Combe See term one lesson two.
* Running time approx. 4 mins.
4. Introduce the theme: ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ written by Anne Porter Without speaking, get the children into a circle by singing ‘Let’s Make a Circle’ as in term one lesson one.
Reveal the rocket laminate. “Where do rockets fly to?” Ask volunteers to name other things that can be found in space (e.g. stars, planets, aliens, moon etc.). Act out their suggestions whilst seated.

5. Fine Motor Skills: ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’ performed by Gracie Lou Click activity name to open YouTube video link.
Use your star laminate to introduce the exercise. Teach the children the tricky moves first, then play the track and perform the dance all together, using the choreography from the video.
