To move specific fingers to thumb one at a time

To practise control through jumping and to change finger position in time with the changing forms of transport

To develop fine motor skills and locomotor skill of jumping

To move fingers in time with the pulse

To improve hand strength through suggested finger movements and leg strength through jumping

EDUCATIONAL aims
PD (MH)
To develop full body coordination and control through joining in with the actions (including tooting horn, car wheels chugging, looking, steering the wheel, miming eating, playing the guitar and pretending to sleep) and to develop locomotor skills through jumping and through pretending to drive around the room
PD (MH) & M (SSM)
To engage in the body tension activities of stretching and curling
PD (HSC) & PD (MH)
To encourage children to be active and therefore improve fitness

To dance in time with the music

To pretend to drive a car

To transfer weight from one leg to the other whilst looking both ways
