To learn about each other’s families and to learn about how every family is different and avoid negative stereotyping (for example, some might have two mummies)

5. Fine motor skills: ‘Family, Where are You?’ (tune of ‘Tommy Thumb’, traditional)
Daddy finger, daddy finger, where are you? (hands hidden behind back)
Here I am, here I am, (reveal right thumb and then left)
And how do you do? (thumbs facing each other and bending as though bowing to each other)
Repeat for mummy (index) finger, brother (middle) finger, sister (ring) finger and baby (pinkie) finger.
