7. Action song: ‘One, Two, Three, Mother Caught a Flea’ (traditional)
One, two, three,
Mother caught a flea,
Put it in a tea pot,
And made a cup of tea.
The flea jumped out.
My mother gave a shout.
In came my brother with his shirt hanging out.
Four, five, six,
My father’s in a fix.
He tried to make the billy goat Hatch a few chicks.

The chicks hatched out.
My father gave a shout.
In came my granny with her hair sticking out.
Seven, eight, nine,
My granny’s doing fine.
She washed all the children, And hung them on the line. The children ran away,
My Granny shouted “Hey!” “We’ll be back in the holiday.”
