Props Required
- Dinosaur costume (including face paints)
- Music player and speaker
- Sparkly magic bag
- Magic wand
- 5 x Dinosaur finger puppets
- 15 x Other soft toys and/or finger puppets
- Parachute (size will depend on number of children)
- An egg shaker for each child
- 5 x Dinosaur masks
- Parcel for PTP (if requested)
- A coloured scarf for each child
- Birthday card
- Bubbles
- Haribo treat for each child
- Magic sparkles
- Party flyers
- Camera (e.g. on your phone)
- Glitter tattoo kit (if requested)
* Please note that if you are entertaining dressed as a dinosaur you MUST wear a face painted colourful mask to match your costume (E.g. green mask with black or brown outline... if you’re feeling artistic you can add big teeth around your mouth!). It only needs to be simple. If you need face paints or an example picture, please ask the Party Coordinator.
When handing out props (for example scarves) always sing “Time to hand out the scarves, the scarves, the scarves. Time to hand out the scarves at insert birthday child’s name’s party,” to the traditional tune of ‘Here We Go ‘Round the Mulberry Bush’. 1. INTRODUCTION
“Hi everyone. Firstly let’s all say thank you to Child’s Name for inviting us to his/her birthday party by giving him/her a great big round of applause! My name is Dino Sparkles and you can remember my name because I have a sparkly magic bag and at the end everyone who joins in will get some magic sparkles and a Haribo treat. Does anyone know what I’m dressed like today? That’s because today I’m going to teach you all about dinosaurs. But before we begin, we’ve got to shake our sillies out!”
