Five little seashells lying on the shore,
Crash went the waves and then there were four. Four little seashells pretty as can be,
Crash went the waves and then there were three. Three little seashells pearly and new,
Crash went the waves and then there were two. Two little seashells sparkling in the sun,
Crash went the waves and then there was one. One little seashell left all alone,
I put it in my pocket and I took it home.

EDUCATIONAL aims

To develop coordination and control through moving in a variety of ways including swaying, bending, tapping, turning and reaching and to practise locomotor skills through jumping and through pretending to swim around the room
PD (MH) & M (SSM)
To engage in the body tension activity of reaching and to negotiate the space while pretending to swim around the room by adjusting speed and direction to avoid obstacles (including other children)
PD (HSC) & PD (MH)
To encourage children to be active and therefore improve fitness
