one way and then the other. The snowflake slowly falls to the ground and the
children follow it with their whole bodies.
b) Tell the children that no two snowflakes are the same, just like people. The
children become snowflakes on the floor and make a snowflake shape. Every time you pause the music, they freeze in a new snowflake shape. When the music plays, the snowflakes move about on the floor as the wind blows strongly. Pause then replay the music three or four times.
c) The children stand and are children again. They bend down to pick up the snowflakes, throw them up into the sky and watch them fall to the ground. This is repeated several times.
d) The children roll their snowflakes into snowballs and throw them at you in a snowball fight. You roll up the snowballs that hit you and throw them back.
e) Everyone lets their snowflakes fall to the ground. The children are very tired from
playing in the snow so they have a big stretch and a yawn and lie down to sleep. Collect up the scarves while the children sleep. When the music ends, the children wake up with a stretch and yawn.

9. Warm-down and give out magic sparkles: ‘Warm-Down Rhyme’ written by Lucy Milan Davis & Sarah Moss

The children are seated. Say the rhyme using the actions from the video.
We’ve had lots of fun in Danceland, (big stretch up with both hands in opposing directions)
But it’s time to say farewell, (wave goodbye with right hand and then left hand)
So let’s take out our magic wands, “ping”, (mime taking out wand and casting spell) And say our magic spell. (put imaginary wand back in lap)
I wiggle my fingers, I wiggle my toes, (actions as indicated)
I wiggle my shoulders, I wiggle my nose. (actions as indicated)
Say abracadabra, 1, 2, 3 (wave magic wand with right hand then count to three with left hand)
And we’re back in the real world (whisper) still as can be. (hands back in laps, sitting up straight and very still)
Give out magic sparkles.
