12. Performance Time! (15 mins):
If possible, ask the parents to join you for a short performance at the end of the lesson.

a suggested format:
Perform ‘Hello, Hello’ (perhaps adding a “Parents say ‘hello’” verse).
Introduce the C chord and sing and strum ‘Bell Horses’.
Ask a volunteer to define a “rest” and then sing ‘Bell Horses’ plucking the G string during the rests.
Introduce the F chord then sing and strum ‘Pease Pudding Hot’.
Ask a volunteer to define “pulse” and then sing and strum ‘See Saw Up and Down’ in time with the “pulse”.
Ask a volunteer to define “rhythm” and then sing and pluck the “rhythm” (and tune) of ‘See Saw Up and Down’.
Half the class sings and plucks ‘See Saw Up and Down’ whilst the other half sings and strums. Swap.
Everyone sings the song from ‘Singalong Time’ as you accompany on your ukulele.
