          3. Challenge the existing visual standard and functionality of volume built homes

          How can this be implemented?

          • Maximising green and backyard space by utilising the roof for outdoor entertain-
              ment and play.

          • Utilising more strategically placed glazing with possible window wall ratios of up to
              80%.

          • Break up the volumes of the interior spaces to include 'lull spaces' in the form of
courtyards and gardens which can provide funtion as places to dry laundry, relax
or play. As mentioned, these spaces will need to be positioned to ensure cross flow
ventilation can be maximised, and solar exposure considered.

          • Create modules of space between 40-50m2 which can accommodate future expan-
sion plans, as well as adaptability to COVID restrictions. These spaces can be catego-
              rised as an example through:

          1. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom

          2. Living, kitchen and dining area

          3. Garage

          4. Office space and bedroom

          5. Outdoor entertainment and gardens

In the event of a lockdown or change in circumstances such as another child, non load
bearing internal walls should be able to be removed or reconfigured to add another
bedroom, home gym, office etc. These configurations can also be modified to be site
          specific and to maximise orientation
