A dandelion amongst the vast Namaqua beauty.
How you bristled in the sun and stole the show amongst millions
Your existence fully appreciated once you were nourished.
How you found a way to melt this world in your natural confines
But she picked you.
She picked you forgetting your homestead, your survival
necessity
She loosened you thinking you could survive a new degree.
You loved the feel…dopamine never seizing to fail you
But you were peacefully dying as your roots began to miss home
The beauty of it and its brightness.
You let go, crawling for mercy and nourishment
You waved tears as your last petals,
All in exchange for a suicidal recovery.
Perhaps you will meet in the next lifetime?
