What is the definition of love I ask?
Imprudent and dunked in a pool of acid is what you replied.
Selling yourself to the depths of happiness
That starts off legit but later dies with the forests of the land.
I see through your lies but I can‟t help falling and fishing for
truth.
We both lied,
Still do cause we aren‟t brave enough to face our hot coiled
blood,
Crashing together, resulting in a volcanic eruption.
An eruption that caused a frozen mind and humbled spirit to be
at peace?
What peace when the shower water slides down my face
Soaking my body and blinding my sight.
A sight recently gained only to be lost towards a never-ending
song.
Although, just because you trying to send me to the moon,
Doesn‟t mean I haven‟t explored the universe
For I am the star that shines brighter than the sun.
