51. Fairytales are just tales

I thought Fairies existed and could sparkle my life around

I thought Santa Claus could brace the African sun and gift me
                                      some joy

I thought Bunnies are magical with chocolate filled eggs instead
                                 of growing chicks

I thought being human is normal and we are a divine species

Here to save the planet from alien invasions

I thought aliens could understand me if I spoke to stars in soft
                                      whispers

I thought shooting stars could grant me wishes for all I ever
                                       wanted

I thought pleasing blood would help alleviate the need for water

I thought a lot of things while living

But I never anticipated that this is how my breath would hinge to
                                  beats of rainfall

Upon the marble they laid to commemorate my existence deep
                                 beneath the earth.
