D2 Instore Shopfronts (Exterior)
Projecting signage should be designed
to maximise impact on the sight lines and
pedestrian flow of the high street whilst remaining
integrated with the architectural composition.
Projecting signage will display the golden arch
as either:
- A square projecting sign; golden arch on
green background.
- A rectangular (elongated) projecting sign
with a golden arch located at the bottom.
Projecting signs should be internally illuminated
arches set on a non illuminated green
background unless Local Authority restrictions
prevent this.
Each shopfront should have at least one
projecting sign unless Local Authority restrictions
prevent this.
Longer shopfronts may require additional
projecting signs although proliferation should
be avoided.
Existing projecting signs can be retained and
revamped with LED technology.
